Incubator "Cinderella": instructions for use
The use of incubators in poultry helps to optimize the work of the farm, increase the population growth and improve its quality indicators. The Cinderella incubator with automatic overturn is one of the developments of domestic manufacturers, distinguished by their ease of use.
general characteristics
The Cinderella incubator automatically flips the eggs and ensures that the optimum temperature is maintained by operating on the mains or using hot water, which is very convenient for frequent interruptions in the supply of electricity. Designed for laying goose, duck, chicken eggs. It is possible to additionally equip the unit with a quail grid. Did you know? Future males hatch from heavier eggs than hens. The body of the unit is made of high-quality polystyrene foam, which is characterized by high thermodynamic characteristics. Heating elements in the form of heating elements represented by metal plates occupy a large part of the cover area, which allows maintaining the temperature even when the fan is not working.
The internal structure of the unit includes:
- electrothermometer;
- 6 plastic grids;
- a tube for supplying water;
- 4 water tanks;
- egg flipping system;
- amplifier stand for grilles.
The manufacturer of the Cinderella incubator is the Russian production company LLC OLSA-SERVICE. The main production facilities are located in Novosibirsk.

Advantages and disadvantages
The main advantages of the Cinderella incubator:
- pros
- High performance indicators - the device ensures the survival of chicks by 95%, which no known analogue can boast of.
- Mobility - the heaviest device weighs 5 kg, which allows it to be transported to anywhere without much energy.
- The ability to maintain a microclimate inside the device even with a power outage of up to 10 hours.
- Automation of biomaterial revolution.
- Possibility of additional equipment for incubators with grids for goose, duck and quail eggs.
- Full control over the process.
- Automated switch to power reserve.
- Economical power consumption.
The device can be used not only by experienced poultry farmers, but also by novice farmers.
- Minuses
- The need to independently set the temperature regime due to the fact that the process is not fully automated.
- The foam housing is not durable and does not allow air to pass through well. Without proper disinfection, mold develops in the pores.
User's manual
Choose a room to install the device in which there will be no draft. Carefully read the instructions and check the equipment. The basis for successful artificial breeding of poultry is the proper preparation of raw materials and the apparatus itself for the process.
Preparatory process
Take medium-sized chicken eggs weighing 56-60 g, taken from healthy, highly productive individuals aged 1.5-2 years. All material should be the same size. Do not use the biomaterial of birds in the diet of which were additives to increase egg production. View the selected eggs in an ovoscope.
A full-fledged biomaterial that will give a strong productive offspring:
- the yolk is located in the central part;
- the air chamber is at the sharp end;
- the inside of the egg is homogeneous, without inclusions and bloody clots.
Egg laying and flipping
Bookmark the material in the period from 17:00 to 22:00. This will allow you to get offspring in the daytime. To fully control the flip, mark the shell with different markers at the blunt and sharp ends. Install the temperature sensor vertically and cover the device.
For optimal development of chicken chicks, set the following parameters:
- Turn over the material once an hour from the first to the 18th day, inclusive.
- Humidity at the level of 60–70%.
- During the warm-up period from the first to the third day, set the temperature mode to 38.5 °.
- From day 4, start lowering the temperature to 38 °.
- From day 10-11, lower the temperature to 37.8 °.
- From the 19th day, increase the humidity to 80–90% and lower the temperature to 37.5 °. Turn off the turn signal.
- On the 7th day, perform a second ovoscopy and discard unfertilized eggs.
- From day 15-16, start the cooling procedure. Open the incubator lid for 5-10 minutes. 2 times a day. This will increase the immunity of the offspring, as well as reduce the risk of overheating. During this period, the egg independently releases heat to the environment, increasing the temperature inside the device.
Hatching chicks
Chicks hatch after 21 days. 2 days before hatching, remove the grate from the device. When the babies appear, let them dry in 7-10 minutes. transfer to a warm, dry room with an air temperature of 37 °. Wash equipment with a weak solution of chlorine and dry. Did you know? The first incubators appeared in ancient Egypt. Artificial breeding of chicks was carried out in two-story buildings called Egyptian kilns, the temperature of which was maintained with the help of horse and camel manure. A mixture of vegetable oil and fat was used as a thermometer. In the USSR, the production of incubators began in 1928. Incubator "Cinderella" is one of the three best in our country. Suitable for experienced farmers and beginners. It differs in small dimensions and ease of operation.
