In the summer, I want to cook as many dishes as possible with seasonal products, including tasty, juicy tomatoes. The easiest way to cook them is to make a light-salted appetizer. It perfectly complements the daily menu and will appeal to all homemade. In this article, we will consider several original recipes, the preparation of which will not take much time, and the result will please even the most demanding gourmets.

How to choose and prepare tomatoes for salting

Before salt vegetables, it is important to choose them correctly. It is not difficult to do this, you just need to follow simple recommendations:

  • choose tomatoes to taste and maturity, but do not use overripe;
  • give preference to vegetables with a dense skin, they will not lose their appetizing appearance after salting;
  • avoid too large fruits, otherwise it will be inconvenient to pack for pickling;
  • the best varieties for such an appetizer are cherry tomatoes and plum-like tomatoes;
  • do not take salted fruits with spots, scratches, damage to the skin;
  • wash vegetables thoroughly before cooking.

Features of the preparation of lightly salted tomatoes

Salting of tomatoes in a package is not much different from traditional pickling. Due to its density, the bag does not allow air to pass through, which speeds up the salting process. Quick recipe in 5 minutes

For quick salting, we need:

  • 1 kg of medium-sized tomatoes (preferably cherry);
  • 1 tbsp. l salts;
  • 0.5 tbsp. l Sahara;
  • 3-4 garlic cloves;
  • greens optional;
  • 2 plastic bags.

Important! If you like garlic, then its amount can be increased.

Having prepared the necessary ingredients, proceed directly to cooking:

  1. Wash and dry the tomatoes first.
  2. Separate the footboard from them, and in its place make a cross-shaped incision.
  3. Now peel the garlic, and then chop it with a knife and pour into a bag.
  4. Add finely chopped greens and vegetables.
  5. Thoroughly mix the ingredients in the bag.
  6. Finally, add sugar and salt to the mixture and gently tie the bag. Just remember that as salting, the vegetables will give off juice, so take care of the availability of free space for this. Pull the second bag on top to prevent fluid from escaping.

If you salt tomatoes with pepper, then in fact you will get a ready-made salad right away. To prepare it, take:

  • 1 kg of tomatoes;
  • 1 bell pepper;
  • half a garlic head;
  • a bunch of parsley with dill;
  • 1 tbsp. l salts;
  • 1 tsp Sahara;
  • 1 plastic bag.

  5. Finely chop the greens.
  6. Gently mix all the ingredients and put them in a bag.

  • 1 kg of tomatoes;
  • 0.5 kg of cucumbers;
  • 3 sweet peppers;
  • 1 head of garlic;
  • a bunch of greenery;
  • 1 tbsp. l salts;
  • 1 tbsp. l Sahara;
  • 2 bags for cooking.

Important! If you use unripe tomatoes in the preparation of snacks, then they will need about 5 days for salting.

Cooking snacks takes several steps:

  1. Wash vegetables, greens.
  2. Cut the tomatoes crosswise, deepening the knife almost to the middle of the vegetable.
  3. For cucumbers, cut off the ends and divide each into four parts along.
  4. Peppers and divide into several strips.
  5. Fold the chopped vegetables in a bag.
  6. Add the garlic cut by the plates and some of the greens, previously chopped it.
